My Grumpy Valentine by C.P. River

Summary:

Flora has always been a little on the crabby and sarcastic side. She has had plenty of reason to keep it that way in her defense or so she thought. Teddy has always been the happy guy making people smile so when he meets Flora he is intrigued by her attitude. The chance meeting may be the starting of something new for both of them and they may learn a thing or two about themselves in the process. 

My Thoughts:

Such a cute book and perfect Valentine read! 

Teddy is funny and persistent in the beginning but sweet and caring as the story progresses. Flora is also funny in her own way and a little quirky. 

I love that a lot of the book is against the backdrop of a bakery because I feel like it made this book such a comfortable read for me.

The story mainly follows their meeting and their first few weeks of dating. This was a nice change of pace from many of the other romance books I’ve read that only follow up to how the main characters started dating or admitting feelings for each other. There is even a very nice epilogue at the end! 

I appreciated that the author kept everything reasonably light making for such a cute story and a genuinely good read!
