Review/Release Day

Hi all! So today’s review day is a little different. Secretly Yours by Tessa Bailey was released today and I have read and reviewed this title. Unfortunately, I will be withholding my thoughts on the book due to the HarperCollins Union strike.

I plan to post my review for this title once the union has received a fair contract. Until then, if you want to support the author, you can purchase the book from your favorite indie bookstore. This will support both the author and your favorite indie store.

I have worked as a bookseller, a bookstore manager, and I currently work in the publishing industry so I know firsthand that a livable wage is not often offered in this industry and there is much to be desired in regards to diversity protections.

I sincerely hope the union receives a fair contract soon and that Harper Collins will consider setting an example for the rest of the industry.
