How the King of Elfhame Learned to Hate Stories

Before Cardan was the High King, he was a child just like other faeries except for a heart of stone. This book tells of a time before the events of The Cruel Prince took place and gives glimpses of Cardan’s life since then.

This is less of a review as the book is more of a novella. However, this is a recommendation for great, quick read if you were a fan of the Folk of the Air series. As someone who actually liked Cardan in the series, I loved reading more about his life and getting glimpses of his time with Jude in the mortal world.

The book itself is beautiful with great artwork inside and would make a great additional to your collection if you have the series!
