Lovelight Farms by B.K. Borison

Summary:

Stella’s tree farm is in trouble and a social media contest may be just the thing it needs. The problem is she lied on her application and said she opened the farm with her boyfriend who doesn’t exist. When she asks her best friend Luka to pretend to be her boyfriend, she’s happy for the time she’ll get to enjoy him as more than just her best friend. What she doesn’t expect is to have to face her own feelings and his.

My Thoughts:

This was a really cute novel and perfect for the holidays!

I love Stella, the tree farm, and the small family she has created. It’s heartwarming and makes me wish I worked on a tree farm with my friends.

Luka is so sweet, how could anyone not fall in love with a best friend like that?

There was some character development there and a storyline but it was all very smooth and subtle. I was expecting a bit more drama when true feelings were revealed but it was all very amiable.

I think this book is more of a feel good novel than anything. It was enjoyable not one that I would amazing.
