Summary:

Andromeda is a surviving priestess without a temple. She has managed to survive this long by working and living a brothel and keeping her head down. When Captain Lennox, an infamously violent pirate, buys her as entertainment for his journey, Andromeda has no choice but to accept her fate. On the journey, Andromeda finds reminders of her past and finds there may be more to the Captain’s past than just his reputation.

My Thoughts:

I love this book! The plot is interesting, the romance is well written and contains just the right amount of spice. The characters bring a lot to the table and I’m excited to see how they grow throughout the series. 

As the first book in the series, this is a great base for a potentially amazing story. This book alone is one that I would recommend to friends but it leaves me wanting so much more. There is so much left to be discovered of the characters and the world. I would have loved more fantasy in this book but I suspect that’s to come. 

My only issue with the book is how Andromeda and Captain Lennox act toward the end of the book. It drove me absolutely crazy but it made for a great conclusion!

Overall, this is a GREAT read but expect to be left wanting more. I can’t wait for the next book in the series!
