The Queen of Nothing by Holly Black

This is the third book in the Folk of the Air series. Click the links below for the my reviews of the first two books.
Summary:
Jude has been exiled to the mortal world and is basically licking her wounds until she can strike again. Where her sister Taryn shows up to ask for a favor, Jude sees her opportunity. Jude will get back to Faerie and will find a way to take back her only home.
My Thoughts:
My anticipation for the rest of this story was at all time high! I knew it was a matter of time before Jude would be back in the folds of Faerie.
I love that Holly moved the plot along using Taryn. To be honest I hated everything Taryn had done up to this point. You finally get some closure with the actions both of the sisters have taken and it made a perfect set up for how the relationship holds throughout the book.
Of course Madoc is at the center of conflict when Jude returns and of course Jude is reckless. It all basically leads to a power struggle between Jude and Madoc which I found to be a little unexpected. I thought the issue would be more with Queen Orlaugh and Cardan. However, this book takes a completed different direction but in a good way.
The major issue at the end is so bizarre to me but maybe it suits the world the book is set in? After that, I felt like the ending was predictable but a good ending none the less. A good read read and great series. A pillar for the young adult genre in my opinion.
